FROM MADRID
The quickest way, although there is a mountain pass, is along the
N.III (Madrid-Medinaceli N.II) towards Logroño, and once
in the village of Villanueva de Cameros turn left at the corss-roads,
and Follow signs to El Rasillo.
FROM
NAVARRA & THE BASQUE COUNTRY
The
visitor may choose from several options (motorway or "National"
roads), once in Logroño, take the National III to Soria.
33 Kms. From Logroño, passing through the village of Torrecilla,
we bear right, (sign-posted to several villages: Nieva de Cameros
y Ortigosa. There is also a large board indicating the lake and
Ortigosa caves.).
After 10 Kms. we reach El Rasillo, a little before the main road
into the village the house is sing-posted at a junction.
FROM VALENCIA
While
on the A III dual-carriageway to Madrid, take the N-II to Medinaceli.
Here, take the N-III to Villanueva de Cameros (there is a petrol
station at the junction) from here there is a good local road; follow
for 9 Kms.
FROM BARCELONA
The
best thing is to take the motorway A-II to Zaragoza and the A-68
to Logroño. An alternative is the N-II to Z and the N-232
to Logroño. From Logroño to El Rasillo see the route
